Here's a nice little program for your kids or your inner child that still doesn't know what he or she is looking at when you go outside at night. Shows a horizon to horizon view from anywhere on Earth and also zooms in to show you what the view would be like from a small telescope. One small bug, the cursor is about half an inch off when you click on something, but once you figure out the offset no problems. Might be due to fact that it's set up for 1024 by 768 and I'm using 1280 by 1024. It is freeware. Guess I'll check out the Southern Cross later.
