Yesterday i uninstalled my old version of wb's, rebooted, installed the new version (WB5 4.90d{b}.oo2, rebooted and i thought everything worked. I had the following message:

Today, upon restarting my pc, all i got was the classic skin. I checked under troubleshooting and now it says:

In wbconfig it still shows the skin as being loaded. Pressing "Apply now" or "Apply skin changes" does not work. I have tried several skins and that is not the problem.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooting as required so many times i can not count.
I uninstalled Windows FX, so that is not it.
I have tried putting the activate.exe in the WB directory, but clicking on it does nothing. I think i've tried so many times it has stopped working.
I am running WinXP Home 32-bit on a P4 2.8G with 1 gb ram installed.
Anyone have suggestions?
