Help newbie how do you make a rainleader skin?

i have tried going to the web site forum for rainleader but it wont let me post even though i signed up. so i am asking yall to help. i dont know if there is a base program any one uses for this or not. or do ya just wing it by completely modifing a skin you already have. i do have a nice paint program that i use but i guess what i need to know is how to start......

Heres a link to the "Rainlender manual" http://www.ipi.fi/~rainy/Rainlendar/Manual.html read the section *editing skins* theres alot of information about the rainys "workings" in that section..
As far as the skin itself..let your imagination take over with your paint program..
