Crossfire Cancelled

So John Stewart won

About time. I mean I really like John Stewart. He's one of those people that gets it. He understands what truth is. He calls himself a democrat, but I would say that that is for lack of other choices myself. Most of the Daily Show sucks, it's simply fillter for his commentary at the beginning, but hey, then I only have to stay up for 10 minutes after midnight.

Maybe the news organizations are starting to realize that they're just pawns of the media wizards and that they've ceased to be a valuable asset of freedom exposing the truth and instead are now simply tools used to lie to the populace.... we can only hope! Fox News has it right. It's about OBJECTIVE news, not "fair" news or "balanced" news (yes, I know that's what they call it, but they act differently, and mind what people do, not what they say, for their actions will betray a lie. (TG)) Point out the truth, point out the contradictions and illogic, dig deep, attack those who lie and twist and spin, do not put up with it. Yes, it will cost you interviews, because those slugs won't want to be faced with truth. Yes, it will require you to believe that there is a truth, and then stand up for that truth (i.e. not be a subjectivist that believes that there is no truth, so how dare they assert that they're lie is any better than someone else's). But that's what the media is good for.

*Crosses Fingers* that this is the start of something good...

Last night on "The Daily Show" Stewart talked about the cancellation of "Crossfire". He said he had no idea that all you needed to do to get a show cancelled.....was ask!

I kinda liked "Crossfire" myself. The banter between Paul Begala and Tucker Carlson was pretty fun to watch. Novak and Carville on the other hand...Both of them make me sick.

I haven't watched since they had Michael Kinsley and Patrick Buchanan.  They should have cancelled that show as soon as those two guys left.

If it was about actually finding the truth, and not about entertaining people with two twits arguing about nothing in particular other than sound bites provided by the same people that they are supposed to be examining, then Crossfire could have been an excellent show. However, no matter who was on Crossfire, they were more about a fight between Repubican and Democrate than trying to get to the truth. (but of course the subjectivists in the room are now saying "there is no truth, so that's pointless".
