Try refreshing the icon cache within Object Dock to see if that resolves the issue. You can usually find an option to refresh or rebuild the icon cache in the settings or preferences menu of Object Dock.
Is this something you've been able to do in the application itself, and can you explain to help find where this option exists?
Unless I've missed something, I'm not seeing any setting or preference with Object Dock to refresh an icon cache...
To be clear, here is a video of the issue the as I understand the original poster here is trying to solve:

Looking again, I can see there is one fix I've found you could try:
- Right-click the invisible browser shortcut icon in your Dock.
- Select "Change this icon / shortcut..."
- Click "Browse..."
- Paste or navigate to the path of the browser application of your link, then select that application.
Now, your icon will have the appearance of the icon of that browser app. Bit of an involved solution, but you can have link shortcuts without them being invisible anymore. As an added bonus, the next time you need to change a browser shortcut icon- the file-path you just pasted in should be available after Step 2 above, where you can click "Change Icon" and selecting the newly available path.
I hope that helps.
