I will try to get my hands on some existing skins for my own use to transform them to darkmode, as there are still no decent ones available. Are there any tutorials or howtos how to make that right? Or should I just trial and error with existing skins?
Carl, probably the best folks to ask about that are either the Master skinners, or SimplexDesigns. He's come closest to a dark mode skin with Steampowered, I believe.

Hey Carl, I agree with Doc, William (SimplexDesigns) would be the one I'd ask, as I have done, I'm still a newbie on "dark" mode myself, but he has helped me, when I had questions.
