That theme looks great, however, what I really wanted is just a Win95 menu (like open-shell does) and nothing else changed. I use it on Win10 without any problems, but now I have to use Win11 on my work.

Unfurtunately, open-shell is not yet supported on Win11, I tried anyway, and altough it does replace it with a Win95 menu, it does so with some bugs, I even had to restore Win11 from a daily backup, because I tried to organize folders/programs the same way I do it on Win10 and then all the sortcuts vanished.

That's why I researched and came to this Start11 product, it's really excellent, but unfortunately no Win95 classic style menu.

I suppose I could settle with Start11 and "Modern style", but I don't like all the programs listed without sorting by category.

On my Win10+open-shell, I first create various folders on the menu (Office, File Managers, Multimedia, Programming, and so on...), then I move all the programs to their respective category.

Is this possible with Start11+Modern Style? If so, how to do it the best way?

You can do that using Windows 7 Style.

I also have custom Folders with shortcuts in the right menu. There are nearly endless possibilities.

(Startmenu-Configuration-Quick access side shortcuts (?))

Hi, thanks very much for your suggestions.

About the "quick access shortcuts" it's almost like Win95 (because it's on the right, not on the left), but the delay beforing opening one level down without clicking is way too much.

And about organizing by categories using the "Modern style" menu on the left, using Win10+open-shell, I simply create the categories and move everything accordingly to "C:\Users\raphaelmsx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu", but when I tried that with Win11+open-shell as I said before, it screwed everything, so, how to do this way with Win11+Start11 "Modern style" menu?

I will also tray the Fences suggestion, but I don't really wanted to buy 2 products to accomplish 1 goal.

Anyway, I'm still deciding which way to go, but thanks so far!

Wow, this program is great, too bad is way too expensive, especially because this is a work computer.

If doing it manually, the two folders mentioned above are exactly the ones I use it on Win10+open-shell, but I keep everything on "%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs", when I install a program that create folders/shortcuts on the other, I simply move them to the "%AppData%..." folder. I've been doing this way for years without any problem, but just to be sure, for Win11 can I do the same?
