Single Click inside Fence

I'm new to Fence and would like to execute the icons inside Fence by Single Click.

I found an old post about this and the response to that pose it not convincing. (https://forums.stardock.com/507914/single-click-to-open-file-or-shortcut-in-a-fence)

I never enable Windows Explorer Single Click because it may cause executing program by accident when I explore in Windows. But, when I am in Fence, I like to execute shortcuts with Single click. Please consider having option for it.

I am surprised this has not become a standard feature in Fences yet.

I've had the same issue since its release, and so have others. There are posts going back over a decade.

An option to make Fence icons (or desktop) a single-click should be a feature of the software.

I, also, do not want to change the single-click for my entire system (via file explorer options) solely for Fences.
