deskscapes on win11 weirdly animating in slivers at the top of the desktop

issue with windows 11 and perhaps multiple gpus

I'm getting a weirdly squished animation, sliced into ribbons, at the top of my desktop.

System is a threadripper with lots of ram and two 3090 matching gpus. Monitor is driven by the first gpu. ArcGIS uses the second for cuda. I'm not sure what to try to resolve this.

I found in other messages a recommendation to purge the installation and re-install. I tried that. Same issue persists.

I was told to tell you to try cleanboot as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#cleanboot. Try it and report back.
