After a Fences update to 3.13, I chose not to reboot when asked because I wanted to finish what I was doing. I shut down my computer an hour or so later and when I started it up again, ALL my desktop icons and fences were gone. This has never happened to me before (except when I accidentally auto-hide which is easy to bring back).
I soon found out that when I right click my desktop it says "Enable Fences" at the top. It is unchecked and does absolutely nothing when clicked. There is no fences processes on either the Processes List (Task Manager) or the Details list. They do show up in Startup but apparently do not work. No message ever shows.
I used Windows 10 "Show Deskop Icons" right click option to bring back the icons but of course it did not bring back the fences.
