I have Office 365 installed and use an Addin as shown in the Title of this post. I have had numerous crashes everyday for some time with this Addin. Outlook itself is fine but the Addin crashes. Pergenex have been inundated with logs from me and they cannot fathom what might be the cause. Outlook like the other Office applications uses its own 'styling' for want of a better word and the Addin defaults to that but the Rules Manager can be themed (Tile bar and ribbon). The crash seems to be linked to this theming.Today I used the Windows default style within Curtains and so far Auto-Mate has not crashed once. I suspect that somehow Curtains and the theme functionality of Auto-Mate are at odds and Auto-Mate crashes when rules run in the background.I would be very interested to hear from anyone that might shed some light on what might be going on.It's a pity that the ability to exclude applications within Curtains will never be implemented.

Alan

Thanks for the report!
Could you please help us out with a little bit more information.
We'll try to reproduce it in house and get it fixed.
The style used was a modified version (colours only) of WinMac by Izzat Nasim. The style used in Auto-Mate was the default which is Office 2016.Exactly when it crashes is hard to say really. I suspect it is when Outlook checks mail and the Rules Manager runs. All in the background of course. I could be making lunch if you know what I mean. When I check Outlook and click the Rule Manager is when I notice the crash.Being savvy I disabled all my addins and whatever I could think of that might be the issue. Pergenex came back to me yesterday and asked about the error in their log report related to 'theme' (as it applies to Auto-Mate). That got me thinking so I selected the default Windows them in Curtains to see what might happen. Today I have not had a single crash and I set to default yesterday afternoon. I think therefore that I have pinned it down.Because the Rules Manager of Auto-Mate is pop up and modal form I am pretty sure it is working outside of Outlook's styling so to speak and Curtains sees it as an application in it's own right. As such it tries to style it which Auto-Mate does not like hence the crash.Does that make sense? Thanks for getting back to me!!

Thanks for the info, not repro'ing it easily over here. Does the crash end up making an entry in Event Viewer/Windows Logs/Application by chance?
Have not checked that. Oddly I have chosen WinMac again and running Outlook for a few hours now and so far it's not causing any problems. Very odd. I will keep you posted if anything transpires. I had a Windows update earlier today - who knows .
