Hi. I also found that hue only effects some cursors. The cursor set in question is Glyx, which has a number of cursors with color except for the one in question, which is Hand.  In the previous version of CursorFX I could create different color versions of cursor sets, but I don't remember how I went about it. If I could copy and paste within CursorFX4 I could probably resolve the issue.

Is there an editor for opening up cursors or will renaming the file extension to something else work?

I'm thinking I might try copying the cursor (Hand) in question and altering colors in Photoshop, but then I'd still have to replace original with revised one. The theme editor doesn't seem ideal for this.

Okay, I figured it out. I took screen capture of another cursor, opened it in PS, selected background and then inverse, changed colors and saved it to same name as cursor I'm replacing, copied this to Theme folder in CursorFX folder and then imported it within editor with cursor to be replaced highlighted, then save. Finally, apply cursor again to change to take effect. Done!

I notice that when re-applying settings, changes such as brightness and size are lost as applying cursor starts with default setting.

I wasn't aware of resetting option parameters because I haven't made a habit of changing cursors for many years and forgot the option changes weren't sticky. Minor, really, given how trivial it is to make changes — brightness and size being the two I use the most. Prior resetting is both for change from one cursor to a different one and simply applying the current cursor again.

This app is probably my favorite Stardock utility (along with WindowBlinds) because the cursor is so fundamental to a graphic interface...along with the interface itself.
