I read that to restore Fences layout from another Windows installation, to copy the folder containing the snapshot backups to the same location on the new install. The same support item also lists a Registry key to restore.
Are both of these required or only one? Which one is preferred? What if the layout specifies an icon but that icon doesn't yet exist in the new install?
