For some reason it does not seem to be setting the Target property properly. Perhaps it is because I am connecting to my home computer through Remote Desktop when I created the group. I cant imagine this should be a problem as Remote Desktop operates as if I am sitting in the chair for that computer.

These specific files are also located on my NAS drive so perhaps it has something to do with a remote path to the file (all your paths in the sample above were local).

I'll manually change the Target paths. I imagine that should fix it but in the meantime you might want to explore these scenarios.

After changing Targets and to a mapped path it is kinda working...

Now when launching the Saved Group it starts all four instances of the spreadsheets automatically but none of them are grouped.

I changed the Groupy settings to 'Auto group identical applications' and it now kinda works. It starts by loading the last target spreadsheet (in the script) which I'll call EX4 and then sequentially the four spreadsheets in the Saved Group, in order, but I end up with 5 excel spreadsheets in the group (should be 4) with two instances of EX4 (One instance of showing in position 1 of the group and one instance in the last position of the group).

Its a simple matter to close one of the EX4 spreadsheet instances but this is not the expected behavior.

I have now had almost two weeks now of working with Groupy and have found the tool useful for jumping between spreadsheets and PDF documents and in general keeping my windows and applications closer to my fingertips. However the Saved Groups function is, frankly, fairly buggy at the moment and not reliable enough to use.

I don't have the time to walk through all the debugging with Stardock on this but I think you have enough of a description to replicate the problems at your end. I'll let you guys work out the kinks and revisit Saved Groups at a later date.

Despite the issues specifically with Saved Groups I think the product is well worth the price and Saved Groups is really a "would be nice feature" anyways that does not detract from its intended function.
