Object Desktop Manager is perfect in theory and great when it works, but many of us have experienced issues with it in actual use just like this, with no resolution. Why it gets bungled on some rigs and not others remains a mystery, to me anyway.
The best option is to download the individual app installers from your Stardock account (you'll want to be sure to have them stored on your system and backed up anyway, to retain access to them should you ever allow your subscription to expire), then run the individual EXE's for the apps you wish to install.
Since you've already had a problem with ODM, I'd abandon it. Maybe uninstall it so it no longer bugs you about updates.
