1) 1920 x 1080p.
2) To write 2016 instead of 2015. Should succeed sometime around 12/31/2016.
3) Summing up the past year? 2+0+1+5 = 8.
1) I already have a TV with that resolution... and maybe oneday a monitor, too, but for now I'm happy with what I've got.
2) Well I got that one right once thus far, but that don't mean it'll stick when sometimes I can't remember what day it is.
3) Arithmetic was never my strong suit... I woulda got 26, there.
Keep on truckin'...
Get a TV...
And get more toys...
I got the TVs and related peripherals sorted, but there are a couple of toys I wouldn't mind when the cash becomes available. One is a wireless receiver that plugs into a HDMI slot on the TV and plays music, video and photos from any PC or network connected device via Intel WIDi software. The others are components to build my ultimate PC.... something along the lines of Jafo's big beastie. I would have done so in 2015 but for the fact health issues and other priorities came up.
Somehow I was a bit late....or forgot....
....so later in the morning I made the resolution to remember to make a resolution next new year.....
Hehe, that happens when you're as pissed as a nit before midnight.... resolutions fail to get made and the resulting hangover waylays it for another year.
There was a time when I wouldn't have remembered any resolutions I made anyway - was always too far gone/pissed before midnight - so I never ever felt guilty about not keeping them. I think that's the whole point of 'eat, drink and get pissed as a nit [that's drunk, plastered, legless for our American viewers] on New Years Eve.
Thing is, I've been sober [as in not pissed] for the past 11 - 12 years, but I still don't feel guilty about broken resolutions. For the most part, I don't make them... well not seriously anyway, and an article I read someplace reckons that over 90% of all New Years resolutions are broken before January's end anyhow. I mean, in 2015 I decided not to make any more decisions until I decided otherwise, and look how that turned out.
