Anyone else have uploads mysteriously disappear?

...I wouldn't freak out if I knew stuff was just being moderated out, but twice now I have had the same picture disappear after being in the "uploaded but waiting for moderation" state for a day or so. The first time it was just an update for an extant picture, and the second time I uploaded fresh b/c it wasn't there after the first. If any admins here just rejected it, that's cool, but I didn't get any e-mails so I suspect this wasn't the case. Anybody else have this problem?

Hawk-3, the moderators just now employed a new policy whereby they no longer give out 'rejection/moderation' notices but rather just delete the submission if it's rejected. I know, it's a bit confusing getting adjusted but now you know if it's gone it was because it wasn't accepted.

and u get an upload "notice" if it does get uploaded. When i first looked in my mail box i was like o it got rejected no biggy and bam a upload notice, seemed unfamiliar eerie .... i like it

I got a upload has be accepted notice also. Same thing, when I saw the mail I thought why have they rejected my cursor. I was crushed until I opened it and read it.
