I just installed the newest version of Deskscape 8.
But when I set a dreamscape background, it's just a black screen for my background.

Hi for example my dreams are all mpeg4 divx dreams! So you must have a divx codec installed on your pc! older dreams are often mpeg2 dreams but windows 8 doesn`t come with a mpeg2 codec only if you have also windows media center installed! Some dreams are wmv files they should work fine anyway!
I have pretty much all codecs that allow me to play all those files types
You will need the 64 bit codecs if running 64 bit Windows.
