Not sure where to report this, but CursorFX works okay with windows 8 until you go to the new start menu, ie Metro. Then the cursor disappears.
CFX is not fully Windows 8 supported, -yet-, but it'll get updated in time.
(Unless I've missed something during the weekend)
Meanwhile, you can press Control+Shift+C to toggle from CFX cursors to Windows default.
FUNNY! We can't even get a fix for the broken update that was released in June! I hope folks have a lot of patience waiting around for a fix!
