Windows command replacement

Anyone know of a good replacement for cmd.exe? I'm specifically looking for something that either is transparent so i can always keep it displayed, or something that's just different/better than the standard cmd.exe in Win2k/XP. Maybe something small, takes up less space, looks nicer - anything.

I believe eConsole will do this for you. A transparent DOS box. I don't have the link though. Anyone out there have it?

Thanks Chris - i just looked up eConsole.. they do have a transparent dos box. it's at http://www.informatik.uni-frankfurt.de/~corion/econsole/. Anyone know of any other ones?

eConsole is fairly slow, and eats up 10megs of ram just for a dos window. i do like how it can be "window-blinded", and therefore rolled up and put away... but it's still just too slow. Any others?
