I don't see "Pages" in the Fences demo. I tryed grabbing the very edge of the screen with any and all mouse buttons but no dice. I am thinking of buying the Pro version but wonder if the program might not be compatible with my articular machine.

You'd have to go Pro to be able to activate all the new super handy features in v2.
And it's worth the 10 bucks, or just 7 bucks if you have Fences Pro! (Check here if you can get it at that low price)
And you shouldn't have any issues with that hardware.
