I have been experincing a hang whenever Impulse attempts to go into the Explore tab. Doesn't matter if I click on it myself, it opens new into it, or switches there because of clicking on "more info". Explore tab will hang, the little spinning dot circle hangs (stops and sits) with the view field blank white. System shows the processor at near idle usually, on some occation impulse will max out the processor however on both occations system is lagged heavily.  If I right click on the impulse icon in the notification area I can change to the 'my games' tab or 'my software' tab, however the system then lags even more heavily.  I have to force close Impulse with the task manager to regain the system from Impulse no mater what.

My system was just recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate x32 from Windows Vista Ultimate x32. I had no problems with Impulse in Vista.

I am using Explorer 8 and have Firefox installed as well. I have tried using both as default explorers.

I have tried repairing the Impulse installation.

I have tried Uninstalling it then reinstalling it fresh.

Video and hardware drivers are up to date.

I have tried adjusting the all the compatibility settings systematically. None work.

I have tried running in Admin mode.

Anyone else have any more suggestions please?
