Problem with multiple excel windows

Has anyone experienced the following problem with Objectdock.

Running windows Vista Home premium 32bit

Microsoft Office 2007

When I have an excel file open and ObjectDock set to show running applications(to take the place of my windows taskbar) 2 excel icons appear. One seems to be the actual file and shows the preview when minimized but the other looks like it is a minimized blank excel document. This is not a huge problem as they both seem to bring up the document.

The major problem occurs when 2 excel windows are open. The excel window that is on top(last viewed) is in the icon with the preview and all the other windows are in the secondary icons with previews of empty documents. When I click on any excel document in the tasks it always brings up the excel file which is on top. I tried this with other programs and even word 2007 and did not encounter the same problem.

This error makes showing the applications in Object dock useless for anyone who uses excel often because they are unable to switch between excel files and must have the taskbar running anyway.

i think it tied to excel opens several 'books' in one program vs having excel the program run more than once

no matter how many you have open they are all inside one window

where as each word opens in it's own window

I agree that is likely what is happening since you can see in the task manager that this is what excel does. It is also noticable when you close the books because excel stays open.

I wrote the above message so that Stardock would be aware of the problem. And it must be possible to work around it because windows does.
