I've been using Objectdock for a few months now and I'm really happy with it. I hide my Windows taskbar and use a single tabbed dock locked on the left of my screen for my taskbar. To optimize my screen real estate I have my taskbar dock set so that it hides all but the "Taskbar" tab itself, unless I hover over it.
Now here's my request, or what I wish Objectdock could do. Maybe there may be a way to enable this, and if there is I'd be grateful..
I have a lot of default sounds turned off b/c they're annoying (IM's, some program's alerts, etc). I used to rely on my Windows taskbar blinking to alert me when some program's states changed (received an im, finished a file copy, burn complete, error, etc). I would really like if when a partially hidden window's contents changed the "Taskbar" tab could be set to blink or flash (akin to when items in the regular Windows Taskbar flash blue when they change). This would be a monumental productivity enhancer for me personally.
Is there any way to enable this?
