Zephyr,
Don’t know if you’re still having the issue with IP. I managed to fix mine, so I thought I’d tell you what I did:
- Reinstalled Icon Packager
- Restarted PC
- Downloaded ODNT zapper (which I found linked on this thread: https://www.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?aid=331217&c=1) Link: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/odnt_zapper.exe
(I backed up my themes “just in case”)
- Ran ODNT zapper
- Restarted PC
- Re-downloaded and installed Icon Packager from Impulse
- Restarted PC
- Unsure if the following helps, but I do this now systematically when I want to change my IP theme:
- unloaded Bluetooth API (maybe because my version is kind of bogged, but then again useful to transfer files from my phone to PC and vice versa)
- unloaded AveDesk (tool I use to beautify & make my desktop more useful)
then
- Opened Icon Packager, deselected "Quick Launch Icons" and "Control Panel Icons" from the Settings tab > System settings section, and loaded a theme and was (pleasantly) surprised to see it worked!
Even turned out that my themes were still there (thank goodness)!
Hopefully, something along here will help you. Good luck!
(note: considering the date of your original post, maybe you’ve already found a solution, but just in case…)
