I was wondering whether this was possible. I use iconpackager to define the icons for various folders / files in vista ..dont really like the ugly folder icon. But in order for icon packagers icons to show, you need to check the "always show icons instead of thumbnails" in folder options.. but when you do this, the picture thumbnails also disappear and are replaced with icons.

Is it possible to make only picture thumbnails show in vista and let the others show only as icons? Even installing an external application to do this is alright, i have not found one which can display thumbnails of pictures alone.
