ObjectDock Start Menu very slow

I use the free version of Object Dock with the Start Menu object on it. The problem is that it takes around 5 seconds to open. While not a deal breaker it is quite annoying. Ive set all of the settings for max performance but it makes no difference with the start menu opening. Any suggestions?

Also with the specs please let us know video card and even the dirvers it is on if you can.
