Some times fixes and patches take time depending on the amount of extras and fixes they are including. Not to mention they may have other hotter fires burning, that need tending to first. I realize patience is no longer a virtue in the world, but please try to remember OD is not really broken, so the "rush factor" may not be as critical to the devs at the moment, as it is to you IMO the little nuances OD has are minimal and livable till they get the next killer release out
Sure, I get it. But is it not better to do incremental improvements where they fix something, release a new beta for people to see if they did it right and while people are testing they can work on fixing something else, then release another beta update with fix(es)? It's a continuous process where both parties work simultaneously towards improving the product.
They may have hotter fires that are burning, but if those fires have nothing to do with OD(+) then I don't see how its development should be affected.
I'm not talking about the "rush factor". I never advocate rushing things but I am in favour of updating things at regular intervals. While OD may not be broken, it doesn't mean there are no problems with it (especially the beta).
You haven't stated which build of OD you are using so for all I know it could be a stable release, hence lack of problems. The problem is that initially I was informed that a beta update was going to be released in January but that never came and now it's March. Last beta update was almost 6 months ago, a period of time for which a major release is more appropriate.
The worst-case scenario would be for Stardock to come out with a 2.0 major release without issuing any more betas for current OD+ subscribers and asking to people to pay to upgrade to see if the problems they were having have been fixed or not. I hope it won't happen.
