One problem that I had previously persists with the latest build of WB6 in Vista: Windows Media Player 11 gets skinned (title bars, etc.), but nothing paints on the inside. That is, there's no listing of songs, no album art, etc. The entire window area remains black [correction - The entire window area remains blank, not black. Actually, it's white]. The only way to get around this is to totally exclude wmplayer.exe from skinning. Then, WB can run on the rest of the system, and WMP displays the music library normally.
A new problem with this latest build of WB6 in Vista: Now, I get frequent error messages saying that WB has caused a problem and that explorer needs to be restarted. For example, this happens almost every time I click on the start button, navigate through the "All Programs" menu, and right-click one of the programs that I find there. It also happened a few times when using the search field in the start menu and when right-clicking one of the notification icons in the task area. Even after explorer restarted, the problem would recur.
These problems were not due to specific skins. I tried several, including Black, Adamant, Fresco, Molten and StealthOS. The problems are the same.
