Help Windows Transitions Not Working

Ok all the other effects of windowsfx work for me like menu transitions and stuff but the transitions for windows do not work. I test them and when the little thing goes in the corner its just slides to the top corner. My video card is fine and is supprted and i have even set it to the fallback driver but nothing seems to happen for the transitions. HELP
P.S is there a way to change the normal transitions that come with my computer>>>>????

Is this XP or Vista? Can you post a screen shot of what you mean but it just goes to the corner?

k its not letting me put the pic in but u kno when ur customizng the transitions, it like puts the window into the right corner when i click "try it". Then it restores it normaly the transition not working
