Theme Error

I tried to use a theme/suite, so it downloaded it and tried to apply it but when it did it just changes my theme to the Windows Classic with modifications so I changed it back to my Windows XP theme and now if I have a maximized window it doesnt show my taskbar. When I try to remove the theme it says I cant because its already being used. How can I get it to show my taskbar?

Okay Anton76, what theme? If it is DesktopX, right click anywhere clear of objects on the desktop. At the bottom of the menu you should see DesktopX select it and select unload DesktopX.

if your window is maximizing over the taskbar, right click the taskbar > properties > keep on top

I dont have DesktopX running, and it happens with every suite... but its the VistaPlus Suite. I dont have any other programs running that would affect the way maximized windows go over my taskbar.

Well you confused me there Anton76. In the last post you made you indicated you were using DesktopX and that you couldn't use Window Blinds because your trial period had ended. In any case, Bichur's reply is correct to prevent Windows from covering up the taskbar when a window is maximized. It isn't clear to me if you are using Window Blinds or Theme Manager or both. If you are happy with Bichur's solution okay. If you have other questions go ahead and ask.

Bichurs post doesnt work for me because there is no "keep on top" in my taskbar properties. I have deleted all the programs I have downloaded from this site and restarted my computer and its fixed.

Well if your running Windows XP Bichur's post does work to keep the taskbar on top of Windows even expanded ones. Right click on the taskbar, choose properties and you will see the Taskbar and Start Menu Properites panel. Look at the third item it says: "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows". Make sure it is checked and click apply. Click on the link to see an image of what I'm talking about.
