Hi All,

I'm using the free version of ObjectDock without any problems. I installed WindowFX though and it won't do the advanced animations because (as the built in "performance advice" feature indicates) my video card driver does not accelerate constant alpha blending or per pixel alpha blending. My current is:
card: Intel(R) 82845G/LG/GE/PE/GV,
driver: version 6.13.10.3510,
whatever that means.

I tried having Windows update the driver but it tells me it already has the most up-to-date version. I looked at graphics cards online and see they range from $30 to several hundred ...

Questions:
1. How much should I expect to pay for a card that will fully run WindowFX?
2. Can anyone suggest a good website to education myself about cards and drivers??
3. If I register my copy of ObjectDock (to OD Plus), will I learn that it, as well, cannot be run with my current driver???
