DesktopX...How to get the Edit Control to appear?

I have DX 3.2 and for the life of me can't get the ActiveX "DesktopX Edit Control" to appear in the "Select ActiveX Control" list box. My list goes from "DeviceManager Class" to "DirList Class" - no listing for the control I want. Do you have to do something special to get it to show up? I'm using Vista if that helps.

I did see that, unfortunately, that control (the one used in the tutorial) doesn't appear in my ActiveX list. My list goes from "DCVJSWfcHost Object" to "DeviceMananger Class" with no mention whatsoever of "DesktopX Edit Control"...

Any ideas as to what could be wrong/missing?

I discovered that, after installing DesktopX Pro in an XP Virtual machine, that the DesktopX Edit Control does show up in that environment. So, the issue must be that I'm running Vista. Any reason why none of the DesktopX controls show up in Vista?

Im sure there are issues with Vista, and the DLL's.. i dont know what as i dont have Vista to look at. i would email support@stardock.com

Yep, there are issues with Vista and the DLL's. Reply I got back from support was that DesktopX was not certified on Vista. Which I pretty much guessed...but, it would be nice if they listed that fact on the DesktopX site which lists Vista as one of the OSes under the Sys Req section. No big deal, the 3.5 beta will be out this week...right?
