You are right about Object Desktop providing an enhanced user interface, anything Vista can do in the looks department OD can emulate in XP. At the price it's a real bargain.
However, Object Desktop will be providing some new and exiting customization features for Vista users (let's face it, people are still going to get it, despite the price). That's the reason I will be getting it. That and the fact someone is going to have to moderate all the new Vista content...
I'm already committed to the Vista path because of that. Not only do I not get paid for the work, I have to spend my own money to do the job
