More interesting stuff happening with GalCiv expansion. I've completely integrated the custom maps. Custom star owners and user defined homestars are in as well as the resources. I did notice that the original GalCiv code hardcoded the maximum number of resources to 50. I won't be surprised if we get some weird behavior if there are more than 50 resources. We'll have to fix that.
I attended the RenderMonkey web seminar. It was pretty cool. An hour long slide show with Natasha selling us RenderMonkey. We're already sold I think. After all, it's free. It's just a matter of us using it for GalCiv2. As soon as this expansion is out, we'll be investigating further.
The rest of the day was spent bugging Cari trying to figure out the best way to implement the scenarios in the expansion. This might take a while. The regular rules stuff doesn't look too hard, it's the triggered events mechanism that'll take some thinking.
