To start I love the ObjectDock software. I appreciate being able to unclutter my desktop and organize it in a fashion that makes my work more efficient.
Starting yesterday I noticed an apparent conflict between ObjectDock and AutoCAD 2007.
I run ObjectDock when I start my machine. If I then run AutoCAD ObjectDock freezes. I can't unload it using the taskbar icon and I have no access to the docks. They simply freeze and are unresponsive. The only recourse I have is to Ctrl+Alt+Del and stop the Objectdock.exe process.
Once the Objectdock process is stopped I can go ahead and restart ObjectDock without any problems and it works as though there was never an issue.
If I keep working then AutoCAD gets very sluggish and will itself freeze. If I try to close it then it freezes for sure. Other programs also start having lockup issues as well. The only way to solve the problem is to end the Objectdock process. On occasion I have had to restart.
I'm on a Voodoo m355 laptop. I'm running Windows XP Pro 5.1.2600 (SP2). Processor is a Pentium M 1.6 GHz. I have 1.5 GB of RAM onboard. I have an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 AGP card with 64 MB of RAM. The driver version is 6.14.10.6512. I run the laptop monitor and an external LG 17 inch LCD monitor at the office. However, having the external monitor disconnected doesn't appear to solve the problem.
