Let's see if your system can run Vista.

"Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor is a small application that you can run on your current Windows XP-based computer to find out if it's ready for an upgrade to Windows Vista. When you run the Upgrade Advisor, it will scan your computer and generate an easy-to-understand report of any known system and device compatibility issues, along with recommendations on how you can get your PC ready for Windows Vista. Microsoft plans to add functionality to Upgrade Advisor, such as checking how your software applications will run with Windows Vista. Download the beta version today and check this site in a few months for a new version."

"System Compatibility Status
Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor could not run Winsat. System compatibility status could not be evaluated."

If my system can't even run this, I doubt it will run vista very well .

Anyone know how I can get winsat to run with this ?

Downloaded it, ran it, said my HD had only 6GB free, Vista needed 15GB, my HD is a 120GB, partitioned 20 - 100, also said my 128 MG ATI Radeon didn't support per pixel 2.0 which was needed for Aero Support, but supports 32 bit, said I needed a new adapter, it said I could run Vista with 512 Ram, but should get 1 GB..........

Upgrade your graphics adapter To get the Windows Aero™ user interface, you will need a graphics adapter that either has 128MB of dedicated Video RAM or uses shared memory.
Your current graphics adapter has 64.00 MB of dedicated memory.
Support for Pixel Shader 2.0 is required and your current graphics adapter does not support this.
Based on your selections, Windows Vista Home Premium appears to be the edition that is right for you.

Guess I'll be buying Vista when it becomes available (unless I die of old age before that time....)
