IP will not stay open

I try to open IP and it pops up searches for packages for a second then closes itself.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the beta and release versions.

I have had previous free versions on my system and I am thinking this may be the problem.Install directory was different.Is there any way to make sure old versions are gone or a list of registry entries to look for?

well - just figured it out. problem started after trying to add some new packages. adonia package must not like me - deleted it and now it works fine
