I have a strange problem with Windowblinds 5 on my Windows XP Professional computer. The skin I am trying to use is transparent, with several options (it is KoL's VistaXP which I downloaded before MS forced him to pull it). The 'Please Wait' box comes up with the correct transparent border, and the start menu also has the correct translucence, however, the title bar and window frames are opaque, even in the preview in the Windowblinds control center. I tested the skin on another computer, and the title bar and frames are transparent, as is the preview.
I went so far as to uninstall Windowblinds 5, restart, delete the remaining files in the Windowblinds directory, reinstall WB5, and reload the skin - same problem. I can select a different color (silver), and it will change title bars and taskbar successfully, but it is another opaque title bar by design. Do you have any idea what would cause the transparent frames not to work, or where I could look for settings that would affect this behavior? I do have Skin Studio, but I just don't have the time to dig in and learn it at this point.
Just some additional information - Computer is an HP pavilion 734n, 512MB RAM. 2 video cards, an ATI 3D RAGE PRO PCI, and an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420, with a monitor connected to each. The drivers are all current, and should not be an issue, since transparency works with no problems in ObjectDock+ on the same computer.
