I downloaded the free version of CursorXP to try and I found that it doesn't work quite right with Halflife 2. When I go to load a previously saved game...or try to select any option from the game menu...the cursor flashes and blinks and becomes so erratic in where it is pointing to that I can't stand it.
But it seems that I cannot go back to the old standard cursors either. The mouse icon in control panel, contains a tab for CursorXP and one for pointers but "use default" in the pointers tab is greyed out and the "default" option in the CursorXP tab is not really the same...AND, no matter how close it looks, it is controlled by CursorXP and suffers the same problems. I may have to uninstall CursorXP
Anyone else experiencing hte same proble? Any work-around?
