How to change Manufacturer's screen

Hey guys, I would like to get rid of the Manufacturer's screen, I mean the first screen after booting, the one to enter to Settngs, Booting Order, etc. I guess that this image is flashed in Bios. So please tell me is there a way or a sofware to do this.

I think (because I don't know very much)the only way is to reinstall windows from disc.

My BIOS had a setting to show/hide the branding. YOu can check there.

The other (more extreme) option is to find a BIOS that is unbranded and flash yours.

Don't mess with a new bios. It's recommended to avoid ever upgrading the bios, even from the original company, unless there's no alternative that will keep the computer functional. If anything goes wrong, you are SOL

I knew how to do that once..LoL.. If I could remember I doubt I would post it.. It does have to do with altering the BIOS and if done incorrectly will lunch your MoBo..

Advice... Live With it..

I've done it lots of times with no issues .. . but there is always a risk.

I also have four daughters . . . I live for risks.

hmmmmmmmm maybe that's what happened lmao

My hard drive crashed last year.....so I messed around looking at stuff and decided to 'Oh!!!!!! look at this!!!!!! There's nothing in there for owner.......so I typed my name in..........

well it stayed crashed and I had to have a new hard drive....the goodguy that came out and replaced it for me asked me how I got my name on the screen but I couldn't remember how I did it lmao

It's still there everytime I boot

You have to have some kind of boot up to BIOS in order to access the BIOS settings, but if your BIOS has a sort of flash-screen, there may be a setting to skip it. Along the way, I have had PCs with BIOS settings like NT described in #1-- maybe even the one I'm using-- don't recall. Any change beyond that kind of setting would be a big risk to your system for so little gain...

I personally would do it...myself..me...but to explain to and trust someone else to follow directions word for word...Naaaaa... But then my wife says I dont like to take responsibility..LoL!

Btw Zubaz, I am not talking about simply flashing the BIOS, I am talking about actually changing the Manufacturers Logo to anything you want...

Flashing the BIOS with an unbranded version is still pretty risky but there is alot less that could go wrong...

I still advise..Live with it..LoL

I mean Like Aimzzz points out
big risk to your system for so little gain...

That only works if you have "Fast Boot" enabled, otherwise it's 12 seconds...

My ASUS P4C800 comes with a utility to change the graphic BIOS boot screen (!). It's not something you wnat to be doing all the time however!

It uses bitmaps in exactly the same format as Stardock's bootskin (no progress bar, obviously). Currently I have https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=3568&LibID=32
