For some reason, I don't have systray support for any ObjectDesktop programs. DesktopX, ObjectBar, ObjectDock+ all won't show the systray when I include them.
I am running Windows XP x64, using WB5, ObjectDock+, DesktoX 3.1, and others. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all of ObjectDesktop, then I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling individual components to make sure that one wasn't interfering with the systray support. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling other programs that I thought may be interfering, like virus scanners, anti-spyware, and nView Desktop Manager (which I thought was the culprit), but nothing seems to work. Otherwise, all the programs work as they did before I upgraded to x64. This is the only thing missing. Not a big deal, but I have to have the windows taskbar showing to access the systray, which is kind of annoying. If there is a fix to this, or a workaround, please help me.
Also, this is just for information, when nView Desktop is active, and you apply a new skin in WB5, the window title bars disappears and other WB5 functionality becomes completely messed up, like the coloring scheme and the button sounds. When I disable it, WB5 applies skins fine and I don't have to restart the system to fix the problem (oh, yeah, restarting Windows solves all the problems).
nView Desktop is a desktop managing program that comes with nVidia's graphics driver. It's not a big problem since I don't change my WB skins an awful lot. It doesn't interfere in any other way that I know.
Here is my system info:
Windows XP x64 edition.
2 GB RAM
Gigabyte 6600GT video card
dual monitor: primary-Samsung SyncMaster 710T, secondary--Cybervision 19" Display
Running: Avast! virus scan, AdAware, DesktopX, RightClick, ObjectDock+, Wincustomize tray, Stardock tray, nView Desktop Manager, WB5.
I don't know what other information to include, sorry. Any help is and will be appreciated.
BTW-Thank you for a great set of programs.
