Hi all!
I'm a Windows Media Center user.... but I keep my music in iTunes, and while there are apps that will sync your iTunes library to your Media Player library, and enable Media Player to play AAC files, those apps will not let you play music that you purchase through the iTunes store.
HP came out with HPTunes as a 10 foot UI for iTunes that integrates into Media Center, but you can only get it to run on HP systems, and the fact that the HP/Apple relationship is gone, the future of HPTunes is quesitonable.
SO..... given that DesktopX hooks into iTunes natively, I am thinking that it shouldn't be too tough to create a 10' UI for iTunes in DesktopX. Either to emulate the MediaCenter look and feel or the iPod look and feel. BUT... I don't have the programming skills to do it.
Had anyone already done this? Working on it? Interrested in trying? Let me know... I'd love to colaborate on it, or perhaps even sponsor its creation.
