I actually do find the aero style less distracting. I have a widescreen monitor and never have any window maximized (or very rarely). Once you get used to it, the borders just sort of disappear into the background, while maintaining their functionality. I'm sure I'll get sick of it too, but at this point I like it a lot. I've always been a fan of minimalistic WB skins, and at this point the aero look does the job. I want it to look good, but not distracting. Personally, I want my focus to be what's inside the window, not the window itself. Simple elegance is the key. It could be better (I'm not sure how), but it is certainly a lot less distracting than luna--again, once you are used to it and stop being distracted by the newness of the transparency. Despite all the customizing I do, the humble wallpaper still remains my favorite part. I like everything else to fade into the background. I use Arrow for WB, and aero skins for OD+, which fits the bill well.
