100% CPU Usage when replying to a posting on Wincustomize.com

When I reply to a posting on Wincustomize.com sometimes , the CPU Usage goes up to 100%

Celeron D 335 2.8GHZ . 512MB RAM , Intel i865g This shouldnt be happening! Unless its an ad banner in the background doing this!

Actually there may be a separate banner window opened up that you're not supposed to see.

Once I found a window opened and placed just so it would be outside my 1600x1200
resolution desktop, but, a tiny slice of the browser's left side appeared at my bottom right desktop side.

I managed to grab it and move it to the middle and saw that it was
a separate flash ad originating from wincustomize.com.

Go figure.

My iexplore.exe is not capitalized. Is this capitalized there when you start up the comp?
If so, you may have a worm.

Hmmm , Im scanning for spyware now and it doesnt seem to be infected. In addition , I dont find any of the files , its showing here , so thats odd.

Thanks , I figured it was this , and nothing more. But wasnt too sure. Booted into safe mode and did a deep spyware scan on Ad- Aware and it came up nothing. So yrag is right

I am fairly certain that the process "iexplorer" is associated with a virus. You should have the process "explorer" running for your desktop to operate properly. I would suggest that you get a free registry cleaner here: http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm
From the list of startup entries you can identify this process and go here for a solution: http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php

Process Name: RapidBlaster parasite

Description:
iexplorer.exe is the executable for a virus that is a variant of the RapidBlaster parasite that downloads and displays advertising from an Internet location. This process should be removed to ensure your personal privacy.

When you open internet explorer, you'll see in task manager "IEXPLORER.EXE". Any deviation is an infection and should be removed. If it's in your start up list of a hijack this report u can kill it!

Although, iexplorer.exe is a ms executable, it can still be an executable for a virus if you're having problems...
