I am an industry qualified professional software tester. I test software. I test hardware. I test documentation. I test websites.
And I test processes.
Maybe that's why I scream silently inside every time I come across a process that someone thinks is infallible.
Well, Stardock the silent scream I have just finished is for you.
You've seen my previous post about the Stardock Central Failure.
Well being a smart user I thought solution - download WB5 from the Stardock website.
So off I go, get asked and enter my email address. Get the email with a link in it. Follow the other links for bona fide "have purchased WB5" users.
And get told to download Stardock Central.
Which fails with the error reported in my previous post.
Methinks that what is needed is a way - other than Stardock Central - for bona fide "have purchased Stardock product owner" users to download registered full versions without having to go through Stardock Central.
Now maybe there is a way and if there is then can you put the access link for said way up front and obvious instead of embedding it several layers deep with a sign on the door that says "Beware of the leopard".
Thanks in advance.
