Those who have purchased WB and qualify for the free upgrade to WB5 will get their link later today. Please remember the time where you are makes no difference. Stardock are GMT-5 and obviously all dates & times are based on that timezone.


There sure is a lot of forum activity from non-subscribers about their shareware WB5 not working...wtf? And, duh! time zones?? Anyone heard of these? Everyone needs to eat their Lithium and chill. All good things come to those who wait (with PATIENCE).

Is truth, everybody knows than exist keygens serials and cracks for absolutely everything, I don't offer crack that program, I only say than could be fun see how faster a popular program is cracked, because I never have an oportunity just like that.

My poor english is because I'm french sorry.

Yeah, i found the first cracked WB5.
This is stupid. People who have paid can´t DL it now - and the Warez Fans can DL it now.
And I was one of the stupid Guys.......
By the Way: I can´t see anything that WB5 will not !! released at Midnight !
And no - they cannot do what they want - cause we have paid Money for that Sadly enough !

Denon: You paid money for a product you already have. You didn't know exactly when they were going to release WB5 then, and you don't know exactly when they're going to release it now. You are still going to get WB5 free. Your situation has not changed, and you have not been cheated.

Are you trying to say you are stupid because you paid for a product and have to wait to download it? I think that makes you a responsible person (although the discussion of warez leaves me with some doubt).

It was available in the UK earlier in the day, but I haven't upgraded yet as it asked me to uninstall WB4. Does this mean that I will lose all previous skins? I am rather attached to my current crop and would be reluctant to part with them or amI being paranoid? Could someone advise me!

Sorry Folks - I just said People who don´t pay for it can DL it and full use it with the Crack. I paid a Week ago for it (dont use WB4.6 for a Year and more) and can´t DL it. This makes me angry ! I only paid for WB cause i wanted WB5. So they say it will release at 29th - and we just waiting. This is not fair in my Eyes ! And i dont understand the Fact why a Group of Users can DL it and the other not !
Wish i can have my Money back !! The Warez Users can laugh about us now

I downloaded the public shareware version of it a couple of hours ago, and well... it screwed everything up. it says that it's perfectly installed and that my computer supports everything, but I can only see two skins, Windows XP Default and Windows Classic (even though I have more skins installed). And if I go to the apperence tab in display properties, which the programs says that I should, I get a Visual C++ Runtime Error.

How should I fix this? please help me, I really want WindowBlinds 5 to work, because I was going to buy it, but now I'm not so sure anymore.

It would be unwise to continue discussing warez and cracking here.

As we have said before, it will be released on the 29th.  We did not say exactly when on the 29th and certainly nobody said it would be out at 12am!

Uh, oh! WB5 wasn't an option for me earlier on SC but 10 minutes ago I saw that it was listed under Demos. I unloaded WB4.6 then uninstalled it through SC and rebooted. When I went back to SC to install WB5, it was no longer listed. The option presented was to download WB3.0!

What did I do wrong?
