I am not exactly an expert with this kind of stuff yet, and I'm looking to learn more. I want to know how I can create my own desktop buddy widget, without having to edit an existing one. I am also wondering if it's necessary to have a 3D program to be able to create the animation (for the desktop buddy widget).. I mean, can't I just draw each movement and make an *.avi out of it? You know, like most animated cartoons. I think I much prefer to do that one because I think I'll be able to have full control on the way the character looks when he/she moves.. Is that possible (please, tell me it is)? And also, I would really appreciate it if you guys give me links to tutorials on how to create desktop buddy widgets.. The more tutorials, the better..
