DesktopX does not appear to have exited correctly...

I cannot seem to find a search funtion in these forums, so I apologize if this is a repost. Everytime I try to load a dxtheme, dxpack or desktop file, I get this error:

DesktopX does not appear to have exited correctly. This could be the fault of a corrupted desktop or buggy plugin. Would you like to start with a new, empty desktop....

DX was operating fine. I did get a fault upon loading a random object. Then everytime, I get this when I try to start it. Widgets (the .exe's) load fine.

I have uninstalled all of OD, deleted the Stardock program folders and reinstalled. I stil receive this error. Any help would be appreciated! DX was the whole reason I bought the OD subscription!!

Have you tried clearing the cache?

Save the theme > unload DX > go to "C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock" folder and delete the "DesktopX" folder > restart DesktopX (the default settings will load) > use the Welcome widget to load your saved theme > reboot to test the issue again. Note - you may also need to delete the IconX cache folder to remove a possible issue if IconX is trying to write a text file to the cache, and any script blocking feature in your Anti-Virus is preventing it.

You may need to go to "My Computer > Tools menu > Folder Options > View tab > select "Show hidden files and folders" > click "Apply" - if you can't see the Local Settings in the address above.

Strange, I am having the same exact problem again.

Is there anyway to tell if the theme is breaking DX or if its DX itself?

I'll have to try a few different themes. I was trying to use chadmus's Indemnity (I love the WB theme).
