Hi there, recent user of ObjectDock and really liking it so far!
I however have a few questions/problems:
1. Regarding the System Tray icons, I found out how to change them for higher resolution icons, but how can I change dynamic icons that change depending on what the program is doing? For example with Trillian, the icon changes depending if you're away, or if you've received a message. Is there way to change those to higher resolution versions?
2. Same question as above but this time in reference to Flyout menus. For example I've created a flyout menu that points to a folder with shortcuts to the various OpenOffice programs, the main icon is in high res, but all the subsequent icons look like crap, and I've got nice high-res versions of those icons I can use. Can I do this?
3. My specs are: Athlon 64 3000+ wit 1gb of ram, 10,000RPM hdd, WinXP SP2. I'm currently using 3 docks (non-tabbed) on 3 sides of my screen (which are hidden) and I find the performance of them to be less than stellar. Most of the time when I go to show one of the docks, it scrolls noticeably choppy, when it's fully appeared however, it tends to be quite snappy. Any tips on making it smoother?
4. The general problem with a dock placed at the top of the screen interfering with Media players is (IMHO) a huge problem which I hope is rectified ASAP. Right now I have to close my docks if I want to use any media player other than Media Player Classic which is somehow not affected. PowerDVD, The Core Media Player and WMP 10 are all affected. Since I'm trying to go as much Windows Taskbar-less as possible, this is a problem!
5. I agree with some others that a more customizability in regards to System Tray icons would be much appreciated. For example, it would nice to be able to hide certain items exactly like how Windows already does with it's System Tray. The ability to perhaps group icons, add separators, etc... Another cool feature would be that when a program changes it's state (icon changes), the new icon would pop out automatically or something warning you that an event is/has taken place.
That's about it, thanks in advance for any assistance and props for the great program!
